Videos and DVDs
Six instalments of the BBC children's science show presented by Richard Hammond, involving scientific experiments of the noisier kind. Two teams take part in science-related challenges in order to win prizes, while the losers get to blow up their winnings. Among the experiments Hammond conducts are: what happens when a tonne of water is dropped on a car from a height of 30 metres; what happens when you use the world's largest trebuchet to fire flaming cannonballs at a caravan; and can a jet-pack man propel himself 30 metres in the air as he attempts the world's highest ever basketball slam dunk?
