John A. Davis directs this feature-length animation about a young inventor. Jimmy Neutron (voice of Debi Derryberry) is a child inventor who dreams of making contact with alien civilisations. One day however, aliens do actually intercept a kitchen toaster satellite the young genius has launched into orbit and mistake it as an invitation to visit Jimmy's hometown and kidnap all the parents. This leaves Jimmy - along with his robot dog Goddard - faced with the challenge of building a fleet of spaceships so that he can rescue their folks from the extra-terrestrial threat. But they have to be quick, because the aliens are planning to use their parents as human sacrifices...
