This series showcases the many sides of late Bolton steeplejack Fred Dibnah: engineer, artist, craftsman, steam enthusiast, inventor and storyteller. Combining unseen footage with highlights from Fred's television career, the series celebrates his contribution to our appreciation of Britain's architectural, industrial and engineering heritage, and includes interviews with Fred's family and friends as well as figures from the world of industrial heritage.
