All eight episodes from the second series of the Italian drama based on Elena Ferrante's novel. The drama follows two young girls, Elena (Elisa Del Genio/Margherita Mazzucco) and Lila (Ludovica Nasti/Gaia Girace), as they come of age in an impoverished and violent district of 1950s Naples. In their dangerous and male-dominated neighbourhood, the girls forge an enduring friendship that continues into their teenage years, as they each strive to prolong their education. Years later, Elena, now in her 60s, receives a phone call informing her of Lila's disappearance and begins to reflect on their lifelong friendship. In this series, Elena endeavours to continue her education while Lila gets a job in a shoe store. The episodes are: 'The New Name', 'The Body', 'Erasure', 'The Kiss', 'The Betrayal', 'Rage', 'Ghosts' and 'The Blue Fairy'.
