Fantasy adventure directed by Spike Jonze ('Being John Malkovich', 'Adaptation') based on the classic children's story by Maurice Sendak. Max (Max Records) is a naughty young boy who has misbehaved yet again and, as punishment, his mother (Catherine Keener) sends him to his room.
