Biography/History:
ELENA PASQUALI was brought up in South Wales and studied romance languages at University. She worked for some years in children's publishing before going on to be an author in her own right. She has a special interest in researching and retelling folk tales from around the world. In her spare time she enjoys cooking dishes from the Mediterranean to entertain family and friends Dubravka Kolanovic studied at he Savannah College of Art and Design USA and went on to graduate from the Academy of Visual Arts in Zagreb. She has illustrated over 30 children's books, cartoon books and school textbooks as well as UNICEF's Christmas card. Her first picture book 'A Special Day ' won the Landmark Editions (USA) Golden Award.
